PhotoFast i-FlashDrive an external drive for iOS devices

Need to add additional storage to your iOS-based device such as the iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad? Want to have that external memory easily accessible on your computer, too? Check out PhotoFast‘s i-FlashDrive, a soon-to-be-launched accessory that rocks a USB plug on one end and Apple’s 30-pin dock connector on the other. Yep that means you’ll be able to easily manage your files both on your iPhone (or some other iOS device) and your computer.

The neat accessory, which will be available in 4 flavors (from 4 to 32 GB), will ship with a free iOS app that allows for file management, contact backup and MP3 playback. We’re hearing the 32GB version will cost $180, which is kinda steep but then again iPhone users are known to spend more on accessories.

However, you may be thinking that another accessory is a pain to carry around. Moreover if you just need the option to easily transfer files from your phone to the computer, you can either beam your files to the cloud using a service like Box.net, Dropbox and MediaFire; or rely on an app like iFlashDrive that allows your iDevice to work as a flash drive.
